GRP Bridge Decking Planks for everyone

We had an LCA study carried out, from which an ECI value emerged. This is between € 0.83 – € 2.12 m1 for our krafton® bridge deck planks, which converts to € 2.60 – € 5.30 per m2. Compared to a bridge deck made of wood, this is between 46.7 – 73.9% lower, where the wooden deck must be replaced every 20 years (based on the EPD product card Footbridge (wood), category 3). In comparison to a bridge deck made of steel walking grids, it is between 78.2 – 89.3 % lower, were the walking grid needs to be replaced every 50 years (based on the NMD product map Walking grid; steel, galvanized, coated, category 3).
