krafton® 520.35 FRP Bridge Decking Plank

The krafton® 520.35 is the latest addition to our range of glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) planks. With a height of just 35 mm, this plank is lighter than our other models, making it ideal for applications where weight plays a crucial role, such as boardwalks, terraces, and jetties.

The krafton® 520.35 planks feature a tongue-and-groove connection for easy alignment and installation.

The planks can be mounted on substructures made of steel, plastic, or wood. Thanks to their low weight, they are easy to handle and quick to install.

The krafton® 520.35 plank has an ECI value of €1.30 m1 which converts to €2.60 m2, for a service life of 100 years. In comparison with a bridge deck made of wood, this is 73.9% lower, were a wooden deck must be replaced every 20 years (based on the EPD product card Footbridge (wood), category 3). In comparison with a bridge deck made of steel walking grids, this is 89.3% lower, were the steel walking grid needs to be replaced every 50 years (based on the EPD product card Walking grid; steel, galvanized and coated, category 3).
