FRP Bridge Deck New Construction Walking Jetty and Fishing Jetty
In order to enhance the quality of life and cultural history of the protected town and villagescape of Capelle aan den IJssel, the client decided to construct a newly constructed FRP walking and fishing jetty. Due in part to the fact that Slotpark is home to national monuments and monumental trees in addition to an historic moat, this new construction project was truly special. For the walking jetty, which will also be used as a fishing jetty, we recommended our 256.40 FRP Bridge Decking Plank to match the desired appearance.

New construction FRP Bridge Deck walking jetty with wooden appearance
A bridge deck constructed with this type of FRP Bridge Decking Planks will look just like a wooden bridge thanks to the joints between the planks. And that’s exactly what the client wanted to see in this newly constructed walking jetty at the historic Slotpark on Dorpsstraat. To facilitate safe use of the jetty, the FRP Bridge Decking Planks were manually coated with non-slip and wear-resistant surfaces in our factory. The structure of the wear-resistant surfaces allows for long-term intensive use.
